Collaboration via Secure Conferencing Capabilities – With a built-in 128-party conference capacity supporting up to 64-parties on a single conference call, IP Office Preferred Edition makes it even easier to securely collaborate with customers and colleagues as each user can have a conference bridge in order to host individual unique password-protected conference calls. These can be scheduled or spontaneous to meet the immediate needs of the business. The user experience becomes seamless as callers simply dial the conference bridge number and enter the unique PIN code as an invited participant for that particular bridge. Conferencing features include entry/exit tones; single beep on entry, double beep on exit, and call recording. Additionally, Conference Call control (available with IP Office Power User, Teleworker, and Office Worker solutions) and Conference Room, which automatically dials users to add them (requires Receptionist solution are available.
Scalable, Sophisticated Voicemail – Messaging options, personalized greetings, LIFO/FIFO playback, and priority settings put the message recipient in charge. This also can include sending notifications, forwarding, and copying voice messages to an email inbox (works with any IMAP mail client such as Outlook); browser-based access to voice messages, and message control from a computer (available with IP Office Power User, Teleworker, and Office Worker solutions).
- The voice messaging capabilities in Preferred Edition deliver productivity and efficiencies day-in and day-out as it handles up to 40 simultaneous calls. When needed, broadcast a single voicemail to all employees, a specific department, or a single team. Once a message has been left in a mailbox, the system will outcall to up to 5 different numbers to attempt to find and notify the user. Voice storage is dependent on the computer hard drive size at 1MB per minute.
Auto-Attendant – As the professional front door to a business, any number of automated attendants can be programmed with multiple menu levels available in multiple languages. Callers can easily reach the person they wish to connect with by using dial-by-name. Users can set up their own personal attendants, empowering the caller to press a single digit to leave a message or choose to be routed to an alternative destination. Mobile telephone numbers are kept confidential yet help provide one-number access for all callers. Users retrieve their voicemail messages in the most accessible means for that moment via telephone or by having them sent to their email Inboxes. When in the office, they can use the context sensitive telephone display.

Both incoming and outgoing calls may be recorded. Employees can record calls on demand with a push of a button or a frequency of all or a percentage of calls to record can be defined. Conversations are delivered to voicemail box of your choosing for later playback. As a new voicemail message, these recordings can also be presented to an email Inbox as a WAV file attachment.
